The faculty is home to more than 780 regular and continuing undergraduate students. The Faculty of Social Sciences and the Humanities is comprised of 4 academic departments.
Each of our dynamic academic departments offers a wide selection of courses and facilities, giving you more freedom of choice in tailoring your academic experience. We attract students and academics from across the globe, which means exposure to a rich diversity of knowledge, experience and best practice.
Why a study program in the Social Sciences and the Humanities?
A variety of disciplines and study programs equip students for a wide range of professions. Specialized and
more general training programs develop high-level critical thinking skills and the capacity to communicate
effectively in the world of work. The lecturers who teach in the Faculty are all specialists in their respective fields.
The Faculty modifies its undergraduate offerings from time to time with a view to remaining competitive on both the national and international tertiary education fronts.
